NEED WORK BALANCE IN ARCHITECTURE FIRMS

EVERYTHING ABOUT ARCHITECTURE: IS IT FRIDAY YET??

NEED WORK LIFE BALANCE IN ARCHITECTURE FIRMS

One week insanely busy and another week is so calm that I can even meditate

In general, architecture firms definitely has up and down moments in terms of working environment. But I might be wrong, there are might be many architecture firm stay busy 24/7. However, from my past and current work experiences, there are some weeks you are so busy and there are some weeks so slow in architecture firms. We need some work life balance in our architectural career.

how to stay busyDon't get me worng... I am trying to productive much as I can when I am working

If you asks me which way I prefer, I will neither wants to stay in busy than staring at my monitor lol. I just felt great and it is more productive when things more bit busy. It is feeling after you had good workout. However, I still wants to have some work life balance.

I might feeling not productive myself when there are no certain deadlines on the project. For example, when you are doing Construction Documents or doing corrections, it's kind of ongoing thing. Therefore, I might be just me to get too tired of doing same thing over and over.

Anyway, I was doing ADA corrections for a week now and feel like this week is moving so slow lol

I hope I can switch off to other projects that are in Schematic Design or DD phase sometime soon. Hope I can be more involved in architectural Design too.   Just need to get some refreshment to be recharged :)

I think keys to success in architecture career, you have to initiative and find motivated things that keep you focus when you doing things like Construction Documents lol

It is just me or you guys also sharing same feeling as I do?
